In 1998, one of our problems was the raw material supply. As the local paper mills did not have a sufficient paper supply, we were forced to have large paper inventories, even more than the local distributors, which suddenly became a new business opportunity.
We receive paper directly from the manufacturers and we opened “Abastecedora Papelera de Cancun” (Abapel), which has created a sufficient supply of paper at competitive prices throughout the peninsula.
