The Pre-Press department is always in constant communication with all our clients, because we want to insure trust and satisfaction for everyone. In order to make a perfect final product, we suggest and guide our clients in delivering certain files. Grupo Regio wants to be sure that your files are in optimum conditions for a perfect production process.

Tips to send files

 

Freehand / Illustrator / Corel Draw

• Use laser Print and send a copy (color or black and white) with demo
• Change typography to curves, or include screen typography sources
• Send separately all images used in design (eps,tiff,etc)
• If you need to separate or convert to “spot” colors, please indicate in ODP color by name and number.

Quark Xpress / Indesign

• Use laser Print and send a copy (color or black and white) with demo
• Change typography to curves, or include screen typography sources
• Send separately all images used in design (eps,tiff,etc)
• If you need to separate or convert to “spot” colors, please indicate in ODP color by name and number.

Photoshop

If your image comes in TIFF format:

• • Save at its highest resolution when possible (400dpi minimum)
• • For color selection, the file should always come in CMYK format.
• • Grayscale for half tones and bitmap for black and white.
• • Image size must be at 100% size to be use.
• • LZW off.
• • Avoid Alfa channels

If your image comes in EPS:

• • Save at its highest resolution when possible (400dpi minimum)
• • For color selection, the file should always come in CMYK format and binary code.
• • Grayscale for half tones and bitmap for black and white.
• • Image size must be at 100% size to be use.
• • Avoid Alfa channels
• • When you are ready to save, unable options such as DCS, HALFTONES, SCREEN AND TRANSFER FUNCTION unless is required.
